Outrage at 'starvation' of a stray dog for art | Art & Architecture | guardian.co.uk Arts

On the "Habacuc starving a dog for art" thing, I can't be bothered to write a full entry on this, but I thought it shouldn't be ignored just how fucking stupid and hypocritical people's reactions to all this have been! (Let us please remember that it isn't even truly confirmed that the dog died afterall - like with most sensationalist news such as this, you can read somewhere that the dog died in front of an audience, while other sources say he might've run away during the night.)

Yes, it is a horrible thing to let a dog starve to death in a gallery, but apparently it isn't in the streets?! How many of you have ever bothered looking twice at a street dog, or a homeless person in the streets, for that matter? We let them die every day. Why is it only an outrage worth hating and petitioning over when it's done in a gallery?

Fucking hypocrites, the lot of you!
